This is a piece that I am working on for a friend of the family. She gave me a page of a interior design magazine and pointed to the small painting on the wall of the photo and said, "Can you do that?"
And I said, "Uhhh suuure..." and I've been working on it off and on since the start of term. I have no idea who the original artist is, but if anyone recognizes it (even though it's half done) feel free to tell me! I need to have it done by Christmas. Wee! It's pretty large, about 2ft by 3ft |

If I may make a suggestion....whether you're working with acrylics or oils, your darks will be much richer if you do not use black straight out of the tube. Mix it with some deep reds or glossy violets and it'll look much more true to life.
